About Victoria

Hi! My name is Tori, & I have been babysitting/nannying since my first year of college. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working with many different ages & abilities (I do have experience with special needs children). I have a masters degree in history & love to share that with children of all ages. I'd describe my personality as nurturing, calm, & kind. I like working with kids because kids are the best! They're full of energy, curiosity, & they have a unique perspective on the world. I'm also a former K-12 teacher, for the last 5 years and am still an Adjunct Professor at a local college. I have recently transitioned into the Museum Education field. I am looking for "one time" opportunities to pick up during my sporadic availability. In my spare time, I like to explore the city of Detroit, visit museums, & learn how to become a better educator. My skills include patience, communication, & problem solving.
