We hired Vilma for a last minute need, she was very responsive on Care.com and was quickly available for a video interview.  She has many 5 star reviews, and I don't want to take away from that, but we must have gotten her on an off night because when we reviewed our security camera footage later (camera is in plain view, not hidden), we saw that she was scrolling on her phone for most of the time she was with our child (18mo), until his bedtime. We were taken aback and reviewed the footage multiple times to confirm what we were seeing, but sure enough she was scrolling on her phone and was not very engaged with our child as he was climbing on the coffee table and the couch or riding his little balance bike in the other room. As a parent it's scary enough leaving your child in the care of a stranger, even a vetted one, so it's tough to find out that the care was not at a standard we would all hope for.  

I don't want to ruin her reputation, like I said maybe we just caught her on an off night, but we do feel obligated to share our experience with other parents.
