About Virginia

I am a mother, an artist, an intuitive creator and a grandmother. I am mature, dependable, and have the passion and desire to continue to contribute. After raising my own family, and after retirement from Skidmore College, I became a nanny. My experience is deep and varied: multiple children (quads, triplets), infants to school age, short term and long term assignments. I discovered a long time ago that there's only one way to live - that's doing what you love. There's something - NO, THERE'S EVERYTHING THAT I LOVE being a nanny. Along with the responsibilities of keeping children safe, fed, clean and happy, I expose children, to beautiful music; the artist in me encourages creativity at all levels. Because balance is essential for me, even the youngest are prompted to pause and to breathe - a simple stop and smell the flowers idea. I know it's cliche to say that it takes a village, but it always has. I hope you'll consider my becoming a small part of yours.
