Few things are as thrilling to me as witnessing emerging intellects explore and grapple with the world around them. Though my experience is mainly with older students, I also babysit and am happy to tutor children as young as 5 who need encouragement reading and help doing homework in any subject. Years ago, as an undergraduate at the University of Florida, where I studied journalism, I also tutored my peers on their writing skills. I recently earned a second undergraduate degree in philosophy from Columbia University, where I was graduated magna cum laude. In between Columbia and UF, I worked as a professional journalist for several publications, including (and mainly) O, The Oprah Magazine in New York.
