I have 8 nieces & nephews. I've babysat for families in the past ages from newborn twins to 11-year-olds. I enjoy helping kids grow & learn while taking my own lessons from their perspectives. I connect with kids because I know that you have to meet them on their level before getting frustrated that they don't understand what you say. My niece has learning & speech disabilities, and other kids in the family with delayed speech, so I'm confident in communicating with kids. I like crafts & fun games to keep kids interacting with the world instead of iPads I like working with kids because they are fun to watch as they learn & grow! You can have a positive impact on their life. In my spare time, I like to fish, kayak, garden, hike, make my own cleaning & beauty products, cook, bake. I was raised by a stay at home mom, with love & learning. It is important for kids to have a 1 on 1 person to watch them, rather than put them in a big group with many children & overwhelmed caretakers.
