Hello! My name is Willow, and I'm a UC San Diego graduate currently pursuing my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. I'm looking for an after-school nanny position where I can bring my experience and genuine love for working with children into a family setting. Over the past year, I completed my student teaching in both kindergarten and third grade, where I developed strong skills in creating engaging activities, supporting early learning, and building positive, patient relationships with students. I have three years of nannying experience with multiple families, caring for children ranging in age from 1 to 16. I enjoy planning fun, structured afternoons that include outdoor play, reading, arts and crafts, games, and academic support to help children continue learning while having fun. We first got to know Willow when she was a student teacher in our son’s kindergarten class, and we were so excited to have her nanny for our family over the summer. She is truly wonderful. Our kids absolutely adore her and were always asking when she’d be back. Willow is incredibly patient, kind, and engaging, but she also does a great job setting clear, consistent boundaries. She has such a calm, confident way with kids that immediately put us at ease. She was always punctual, dependable, and easy to communicate with. She kept our kids busy with fun activities like crafts and science experiments at home, trips to the park and playground, and even adventures to the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk for rides and lunch. It was obvious that she genuinely enjoyed spending time with them, and they had so much fun together. We would hire Willow again in a heartbeat and recommend her without hesitation to any family. We are genuinely sad to lose such an incredible childcare resource, but we’re excited for her as she heads back to San Diego for her next adventure. Any family there would be lucky to have her.
