About Winnie

I have worked with the older adult population most of my life. It started in elementary school. I would go to the nursing home that my mother worked at after school. Being around older adults most of my life, has given me to passion to empower other individuals. When I graduated with my undergrad in Social Work, I was able to work with adults with mental illness, by providing community support. Working with this population gave me the skills to provide support in attending doctor appointments, provide medication management and monitoring , assist with grocery shopping, and establish a therapeutic relationship to address the mental health barriers that were preventing them from engaging in the community. Many of clients my were older than 50. I feel that my experience as a social worker, will allow me to provide the best care possible, to your loved one.
