About Xochitl

Hi! My name is Xochitl! I'm looking for a part-time job since I am a grad student at the University of Chicago. I have experience with neurodivergent kids (Autism/OCD/ADHD) in addition to toddlers, and infants as young as 6 months. I value open communication, empathy, and honesty with kids and am passionate about art education. I'm well-versed in helping kids find creative outlets early in their life! I took a few child development classes at UW-Madison that focused on how children learn using art. I volunteered with several nonprofits in Wisconsin to create healthy breakfast menus for their summer program that feeds kids from 0-12 years of age as well as working with K-12 schools to educate kids on civic engagement. My entire community/friend group is also all educators so I am confident in my ability to truly connect with kids. I would love to work around my schedule as a graduate student at the University of Chicago and am flexible about my start date! Let's connect!
