About Yajaira

Yajaira (Jay) is truly exceptional in every way, and our family was very blessed to have her as primary caregiver for our elderly mother during the last 1 ½ years of her life. She is extremely skilled, knowledgeable and reliable, and always inspired our confidence and trust. Her positive energy and compassionate care greatly enhanced Mom’s quality of life. Jay has a fun personality that always uplifted our mother’s spirit. She was very creative in keeping Mom engaged and occupied. Our mother loved the time they spent together and appreciated her kindness, warmth, and sense of humor. Jay's expertise and experience spans all aspects of elder care. She provided tremendous value as our mother became progressively more frail and needed help with everything (mobility, transferring, hygiene, meals, etc.). Jay was proactive in suggesting and using many tools and practices to make Mom’s life easier, healthier and more comfortable. The notebook in which she documented medications taken, care activities and observations was so beneficial for us. Jay always showed patience, professionalism and good judgement, which was especially helpful during the months when Mom’s situation had become more challenging. Her communication and collaboration with family members as well as with Mom’s overnight caregiver were outstanding. We always felt that Jay cared for our mother as she would her own family.
