I like working with kids because of how important the early years are for a child's overall development. These years literally shape them into the adolescent, teenagers and adults they will become. Every child is worthy and deserving of a great childhood with loving memories. I started working as an unpaid caregiver at the age of 6. 5 when my younger sibling was born! Officially though, I started working with kids when I worked as a TA at a child development center. In the 3-5-year-old classes, I facilitated in the following: - reading, arts and crafts - nourished their bodies - play time - prepared the children for rest time I also worked with children in primary school. I facilitated in the following: - morning movement/stretches - teach a traditional form of dance of North Mexican origin - teach English
