Yudy is an experienced babysitter, she took care of our little daughter on several Friday/Saturday afternoons, played with her, and took her to a playground. However, she canceled an appointment 15 minutes before she was supposed to come saying she is no longer interested in coming, which I consider extremely unprofessional. (I was supposed to participate in a conference via zoom during the time she should be with the baby and you can imagine how it looked when I had a 1-year-old in the same room when I had to speak in a panel that lasted over 2 hours...) If she wanted to cancel, she should have done so at least a day before so I would have time to find a replacement. Also, Yudy made it clear when leaving she expects to be paid for the whole hour even if she works just 30 or 45 minutes - I was confused why she said so because she always worked full hours with us and in fact, I typically rounded her payment to the nearest ten. But it might be useful to know for those who hire her in the future because this is not a standard.
