I'm a dependable, energetic, and creative Maryland-certified elementary school teacher with 10+ years of experience working with children from infancy through adolescence. I hold a B. S. in Family and Child Sciences from Florida State University with a minor in Education and currently teach early learning full-time at a school supporting children with language-learning disorders and dyslexia. I specialize in early literacy and the science of reading and am certified in Phono-Graphix and Wilson Fundations. I also offer tutoring in reading and writing. For childcare, I love reading aloud, crafts, hands-on learning, and planning fun activities based on each child's interests. I'm CPR/AED certified, have reliable transportation, and am passionate about keeping children safe, engaged, learning, and smiling!
