About Zaida

Thanks for visiting my page! My name is Zaida, and I've been working with children since I was 15. I am a recent nurse graduate from Drexel University. I've babysat (including overnights) for individual families, ran a tutoring service in college, worked for the NY Department of Education, and have been a Counselor-In-Training for both day and sleep-away camps. I love to read, draw, paint, play volleyball, do yoga, swim, and hike. As a former camp CIT, I've had plenty of experience providing fun for children in a safe environment. I've taught step dancing, salsa dancing, arts and crafts, kayaking, archery, and swimming, but I love low-key, rainy day games as well! A day of babysitting with me has usually consisted of any homework that your child is required to complete, some outdoor time if the parent allows, arts and crafts, movies, and indoor games. But of course, I am open to what both child and parent wants done!
