Hello I'm Zaida! I am a fun, energetic, loving, responsible, respectful, bilingual (Spanish/English) mom/stepmom and caregiver. I've been caring for kids since from a young age. 
I am CPR & First Aid certified. 
As a teenager I worked part time at my local high school taking care of kids during the evenings while moms studied to get their GED. I've raised my own daughter and stepchildren. I have been a Sunday school teacher to children and adolescents, as well as a youth leader at the church's I've attended. I've taken care of children at my home or parent's home. I love to help take care and mold children. I'm fluent in Spanish and I could support with tutoring if needed. I have my own vehicle. I'm doing this because I am passionate about teaching one day and to earn extra income. Thank you for considering me!

Zaida is wonderful with our boys and we have her come in regularly. Our toddler is always excited when we tell him she is coming. Zaida is attentive and incorporates her teaching background in coming up with fun activities. She even has our son learning Spanish and he's proud show off the the words he learned after each session.

Zaida is amazing.  After searching many local agencies to no avail I feel SO lucky we came across her profile.  We reached out last minute for overnight care for our newborn while I recovered from my c-section and we couldn't have wished up a better person to care for our son.  After speaking with her I immediately knew she was the one.  And we were right!  The support she's provided to me and our boy during this time has been invaluable and has helped me tremendously.  She's so knowledgeable on babies and children and is incredible with our son who has not been the best sleeper.  She's flexible and reliable and so easy to work with.  The care she provides is above and beyond and you can tell she truly cares about our son and our family's well being during this stressful transitional period of having a new baby.  We love Zaida so much we just keep extending and want to keep her all to ourselves!

Zaida was great - asked a lot of questions when she arrived to ensure she handled all of the routines for evening/bedtime and checked in occasionally to keep me updated on my girls. My daughter asked the next day when she was coming back. Definitely plan to hire again next time we need help!

Zaida can truly do it all. We hired her for part time nannying for our 1 year old baby boy. My husband is Colombian and it was important for us for his caretakers to speak to him in Spanish. Zaida was super energetic and very professional from the moment we met her. She is always punctual and send us reminders for the nights she will be with us and always communicates when we are away to give us updates. I love having her as a part of our family and I will keep hiring her until our baby is all grown up!

We hired Zaida last minute to help watch our daughter after a previous sitter cancelled. She was very flexible in working with us and arrived timely. My daughter doesn't take well to strangers but she was very comfortable with Zaida. 

Zaida kept us updated on her throughout the evening which was very re-assuring. Overall, our experience with Zaida was top notch and would hire her again in a heartbeat!

We hired Zaida as a part-time nanny and our kids were instantly in love. They look forward to her coming on the weekends. She is punctual, attentive to the kids, and very kind. She is a great communicator and shares well in advance if schedules need to be adjusted.

Zaida is the perfect mix between professional and familial. She takes the care of her children very seriously and you feel that she cares for your child. She's super flexible and goes above and beyond if you're ever in a bind. She's very communicative and keeps you abreast of anything that you'd need to know. She's been caring for my infant D for several months and I've grown to count her amongst a member of our family. I know that with her my baby is in great hands. I'd definitely recommend her; she's an amazing, caring and reliable person, you'd be glad to have her!

Zaida is one of those rare individuals who can do just about everything with great kindness and capability.  Her patience and willingness to be more than someone who is just "looking after" your child is on display from the first time you meet her.  She's smart, very communicative (even when I'm not with my crazy days!), and willing to work with you to make sure both you and your child are taken care of.   Couldn't recommend her more highly - she's a dream!

Zaida would've been a great fit for our family. She was great with our kids during our trial run, the kids loved her and wanted her to be their permanent sitter. Unfortunately, I received a job offer that forced us to move rather quickly, but I highly recommend Zaida. Very attentive and punctual with time. Bilingual was a plus as well.

Happy with the service I received. It was last minute but she did everything I needed. I would hire again.
