About Zien Celeste

Hi, I'm Zien! Most people call me Z or Auntie Z. I'm a calm and grounded caregiver with five years of experience caring for children ages 6 months to 14 years. My approach is gentle, intuitive and playful. I've worked as a nanny, doula, tutor, mentor and youth culinary instructor. I bring creativity and steadiness into each home. I love getting to know each child and learning what makes them feel comfortable and engaged. Some days that means making art or exploring outside. Other days we might cook together, work on homework or settle into a bedtime routine. I'm also happy simply being a warm and consistent presence. A little about me: I'm a Louisiana native and former neuroscientist who eventually traded the lab for farming and culinary arts. I love science, storytelling and finding creative ways to make everyday life fun. Fun facts: I love swamps, decorating cakes with tons of edible glitter and making scavenger hunts out of ordinary days.
