She was unable to write so I handled her correspondence i. e. Special occasion cards and letters. I monitored her medications and requested refills as needed. I handled grocery shopping for her, and when she felt able, I would take her shopping. I've cared for a couple in their 90s for 8 years, sadly she passed away in 2018. He was still going strong and recently decided to move in with his son, 2023. He passed away in 2024. I provided companionship, served as driver, housekeeper, chef, personal trainer, helped with bathing when necessary, lawn person, medication prompting and secretary.

Hello! I just graduated from the University of Texas in Dallas with a Master's degree in Human Development and Early Childhood Disorders. I graduated with my Bachelor's at East Texas Baptist University in Child Development with a minor in Psychology in 2016. I have volunteered helping with children at my church for over 10 years between the ages of 8 months old -17 years old. I previously have worked with children in nursery's, day-cares, babysitting, and summer camps. My interests are playing soccer and the piano including anything that has to do with art! I have my own vehicle and am also bilingual in English and Spanish. I also have experience in giving developmental assessments to children with possible or no disabilities at the Children's Hospital in Dallas. I'd describe my personality as fun, organized, safe, and a great communicator. I like working with kids because of the way they see the world, their enthusiasm, and they are great reminders of what is good in the world. I am always so humbled by the lessons they teach me. I'm looking for a job that can be consistent so that I may grow a relationship with the children and parents. I started working with kids when I was in high school. I would volunteer at church, babysit often, and was a nanny every summer of high school. College followed the same pattern. I have taken a group of kids to camp and worked at a daycare from 6 weeks to pre-k ages. I have also babysat newborn triplets. I have also worked at a preschool/daycare for two years and have worked as a Children's pastor ages ranging from newborns to 6th grade. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my husband and dog! We enjoy camping, running, traveling, and eating at new places and coffee shops!
