There are in-home nannies who specialize in different areas of care, such as infant care. You can also hire a bilingual nanny who can read to and speak to your child in a different language.
Are in-home nannies background checked?
All in-home nannies on Care.com are asked to complete an annual background check called a CareCheck and the in-home nannies who complete it have a badge on their profile that displays the date it was run. While a CareCheck is a great jumping off point, but we strongly suggest that you do your own due diligence when hiring a live-in nanny and request references and do your own private background check.
