About Abigail

I'd describe my personality as enthusiastic, flexible, and hard-working. I like working with kids because I enjoy watching them grow each day and I can see their personalities come out when I spend more time with them. I'm looking for a job that allows me to nurture and help their kids in a fun and safe environment. I started working with kids when I was around 12. I babysat for my neighbors and other kids in my neighborhood. Then, at 15 I got my first full time nannying job. I worked for them for 4 years and just watching them grow into the individuals they are today. In my spare time, I like to be with friends and family, find new coffee drinks, run, and go to the movies. One thing you should know about me is that I am not just a resource for them, but also someone they trust as a part of the family. I love spending time with kids and will do whatever it takes to make parents and kids feel comfortable. My skills include empathy, conflict resolution, and communication.
