Hi there! My name is Amanda. I am a Colorado local, and I have over 8 years of experience when it comes to watching children ages newborn- school age. I absolutely love children and spending time with them. Watching them grow and play brings me so much joy. I attended MSU Denver for 4 years in regards of getting my teaching degree in elementary education, but unfortunately COVID-19 forced me to withdraw from school right before I graduated. I would like to go back to school at some point, but until then, spending time with children is what I love to do. Other than spending time with kids, I love to be outdoors with my 6-year-old border collie hiking, biking, skiing, or just driving around exploring. I believe that kids need hands-on learning so I love to participate in arts and crafts, reading, dancing, and outside time to better develop their understandings. I also love to have fun while being safe! Thank you!

Amanda is currently nannying for our 3-year old son for the summer. She has proven herself to be dependable, patient, and energetic--all essential qualities when taking care of a young child. She has great communication skills and is very helpful around the house, too. I never have to ask her to wash the dishes or pick up the toys; she sees what needs tending to and just takes care of it. We feel fortunate to have her on board!
