Hi! My name is Alexa and I am an experienced babysitter that would love to work for your family! I am a special education elementary school teacher. I have been teaching for 11 yrs, and currently teach Kindergarten and 1st Grade Autism (ABA). I have experience babysitting and working with kids from 2-16 years. I am a graduate of Rowan University with degrees in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, and Writing Arts. I have a master's in ABA and Autism. due to my teaching schedule, my availability is after 4 p.m. during the week. I am available as a date night sitter or as-needed babysitter, and to provide transportation or tutoring! *I am allergic to cats so sorry, no households with pet cats!* I look forward to hearing from you!

This is a very long overdue recommendation, but better late than never! Alexa is a great sitter! From the moment we met, I liked her instantly. She is comfortable and confident in a way that you find in a seasoned teacher. She spoke to my kids, asking them questions in a natural, easy way. I knew right then she'd be a good fit. My kids really enjoyed Alexa. Some of the first feedback I got from them was, "Mommy, Alexa never looks at her phone." Translation: she wasn't sitting around texting all day while watching my kids. Very rare! She played games and worked on crafts with my daughter which she seemed to enjoy just as much as my 7 year old! Alexa is trustworthy and smart. I never worried about her driving with my kids in the car or taking them places. I knew they'd be in good hands. Alexa spent time over the summer helping my daughter with her reading and writing which resulted in her testing higher (and testing out of her basic skills program)! I'd hire Alexa again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a solid, reliable and fun sitter!
