About Alex

Hi! My name is Alex and I am in my mid-twenties living in River North (recently moved from Boston!). I have been volunteering and working with kids for many years. In high school I volunteered weekly at a Children's Interactive Museum, as well as in a third grade classroom. In college, I participated in a mentorship program where I would create programmings for my mentees every Saturday. Through these programs, I have experience watching and taking care of kids aged 3-15. For the past 4 years, I have been occasionally babysitting for three separate families, with kids aged between 1 and 6. I also have experience with morning and bedtime routines, drop offs, and pickups! The reason I joined Care. com is because I am passionate about working with kids, want to be a positive role model, and enjoy laughing, being silly, and imaginative with kids.
