About Amanda

For two years in high school, I tutored K-6th grade students on the weekends at the public library through the GIVE (Growth and Inspiration through Volunteering and Education) program. I would help students with any subject they were struggling with. During college, I babysat and helped tutor for a family with three students in 3rd-7th grade. I helped the students in the evenings with their homework assignments and would help them study for their upcoming tests. I read with the 3rd grader every day, and during our reading would work on skills such as using context clues. During the beginning of the pandemic, I nannied full time and helped with online schooling, assignments, and camps. With me you children will be challenged, engaged, and encouraged to do their best!
