About Amy

I am a retired special education teacher, with almost 25 years of experience, working with children ages birth through 13 years olds. I still hold my state teaching certificate, and am trained and certified in CPR and first aid. My passion is bettering children's educational experiences through interactive, hands on activities that encourage children to actively use their creativity and problem solving skills. I don't believe in screentime, and instead prefer to come each day prepared with interesting and exciting activities for children to engage in. I firmly believe in developing a close, transparent relationship with parents, with the belief that having that opened is the bes way to provide care for children. I'm always available to come in early or stay later. Coverage for unexpected needs is almost never a problem.
