Hi! I have taught English as a second language to children ages 4-11 as well as doctors and PhD researchers. I have edited numerous high school, college and graduate school essays, resulting in successful admissions to competitive institutions, and worked as a writing coach for students and professors. I am a former varsity swimmer who has given swimming lessons to 4-year-olds and 30+ year olds. I have an BA in Neurobiology and Literature from Harvard, a Masters of Fine Arts in creative writing from the University of Southern Maine, and a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Rochester. I love to learn with and from my students, and enjoy working with people of all ages and abilities.
