About Coral

Hello!! My name is Coral and I am currently working as a teaching assistant at an elementary school. I primarily work with students in Kindergarten to 2nd grade. I assist the teachers in helping the kiddos comprehend what they are being taught and pull them aside when they need extra help. I have experience working with children who have learning disabilities such as ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. I have an extreme amount of patience when it comes to working with kids and add a fun sense of teaching to help keep their attention. It brings me joy to see my kiddos apply the knowledge I have helped teach them. I have a bachelor's degree in Psychology, which has helped me further understand how children learn. I have also received training in teaching phonics and reading comprehension at grade levels K-2.
