About Darcie

My journey into childcare began with raising my three adult children, which gave me a deep understanding of child development and the importance of a nurturing environment. I've also helped care for my seven nieces and nephews over the last 30 years, reinforcing my passion for childcare. With an undergraduate degree in education and a master's in preventative rehabilitation, I've spent 25 years in healthcare as a certified lactation consultant, doula, and parenting educator. This combination of education and experience has given me a holistic approach to family wellness. I've worked with nanny agencies, including night nannying for newborns, and I am CPR and first aid certified. As a Love and Logic instructor, I focus on fostering positive behavior through empathy and communication. A non-smoker with a clean driving record, I'm a pet lover and fully vaccinated. I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and enriching environment for your family.
