About Deborah

I have a Masters in Early Childhood Special Education. I taught for 31 years in Preschool/Prek in Howard County Public Schools and retired in July, 2023. I look forward to continuing to help our youngest learners make progress in pre academic, social and early literacy skills. I believe in learning through play and learning by doing while having fun! I'd describe my personality as energetic, flexible, organized. I like tutoring because I enjoy working one on one with students to help them gain skills and confidence as they learn. I'm looking for a job that gives me flexibility and one on one time with a student. In my spare time, I like to do puzzles, watch the Orioles, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I will work hard to help your child gain skills and confidence. I am patient while figuring out what works best for your child. My skills include patience, encouragement and flexibility.
