About Julie

I'd describe my personality as compassionate, patient, caring. I like tutoring because it allows me to help students who need one-on-one or small group attention. I'm looking for a job that allows me to help students better understand their studies and gives them that extra confidence boost. I started tutoring after I completed my degree in elementary education. In my spare time, I like to read, walk, and volunteer. One thing you should know about me is I will build a rapport with your child so they know that I am there to help them succeed. I will pre-assess your child on the areas of focus needed so that I can customize their learning to best help them. I know that all children do not learn the same and will make learning fun in a way that fits their learning style. I will communicate with you on our successes. I will value your time and your child's time and can be flexible scheduling sessions. My skills include curriculum knowledge, time management, and patience.
