I'm passionate about unlocking every student's potential through personalized support. My teaching philosophy centers on building confidence and cultivating a genuine love for learning. For over five years, I have been tutoring students in English, Science, and Test Preparation. I adapt my teaching methods by observing a student's initial interactions with new material and by using visual aids and hands-on activities. I also check in regularly with parents. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their interests and celebrating small successes. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. My most rewarding experiences come from witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing students gain confidence. I hold a graduate degree and can help with elementary and middle school levels. I am CPR trained and have First Aid certification. I have a car and am willing to tutor at a student's or teacher's home.
