About Eleanor

Hello there! I've been working with children for going on 9 years now, and I have done both long term nanny jobs and as needed babysitting jobs. My experience is with children ages 4 months-6 years and my main goal is to create an environment where they feel respected and listened to. I've taken many courses in early childhood development and love using what I've learned to help kids feel understood and safe! Along with that I love art, nature, reading, baking, and teaching. I'm currently employed at a Montessori school working with all ages but especially with infants, and I'm very interested in incorporating what I've learned from my work into my nannying style. Some things I love to do with children are baking projects, art, nature walks, science experiments, and writing stories. My certifications include: CPR/First Aid, DCYF Safe sleep, DCYF Mandated Reporting, Food Handlers Permit, Bloodborne Pathogens, and Washington Childcare Basics.
