About Elise

Hi! My name is Elise! I recently graduated from UMass Amherst with B. S. Communication Disorders and a minor in education and psychology. I also have been awarded a letter of specialization in developmental disabilities and human service. During my time at UMass, I spent three semesters as a group home volunteer for residents with varying disabilities, and two semesters as a respite in-home and community provider for a family with a young daughter with intellectual disabilities. I will be attending grad school at Boston University M. S. SLP program in fall 2020. I have been a babysitter for as long as I can remember! I have worked as an American Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certified lifeguard for six years, and have experience in both a property and Lifetime health club setting. I am creative, ambitious, organized, independent, flexible, and easy-going. Spending time with kiddos genuinely brightens my day, and it has never felt like a job to me!
