About Elizabeth

Hi there! My name is Betsy and I've been living in Chicago for about 15 years now. I started babysitting for kiddos around the age of 14, and have been doing so on and off for about 20 years now! I have a bachelors degree in psychology/sociology, and a graduate degree in social work. My career history includes work at a crisis hotline for runaway and at-risk youth, taking calls from youth anywhere from 6 or 7 years old to adults. I have worked at a few different organizations in child welfare, with youth and families in the foster care system as well as in a childrens hospital. I currently work full-time as a school social worker, and am looking to continue to work with children, youth and families in a different capacity! I have consistently nannied and babysat a kiddo since she was 4 months to now, almost 3, and pet sit all the time, too! I am available for part-time work in the evenings!
