I graduated from Presbyterian College in 1983 with an elementary education degree. After practice teaching I found that I enjoy educating outside of a classroom. I have been a professional nanny ever since. I am experienced with newborns, toddlers and school aged children. I prefer to take jobs that are long term, a benefit to the children, parents and me. My longest time with a family was 10 years. I continue to be close with the children and families that I have worked with. I excel in fun and entertaining activities for the children inside and out. My current position is in a nanny share with two families. Both girls are 15 months old. Sadly one family will be leaving in August and we are looking for another family to share with. I work 9-5 Monday through Friday and we alternate houses. The ideal fit would be one child of a similar age. We have lots if fun every day going to parks, playgrounds, museums and story times.

My daughter LOVES Nanny Fran. Fran has been taking care of her as part of a nanny share for the past year, since she was 5 months old. Fran makes every day fun and educational, whether it’s going to the playground, museum or library, or playing and reading at home. Fran goes above and beyond the normal caregiving responsibilities, teaching lessons through songs, bringing in special books and toys to play with, and even baking yummy nutritious snacks. But most important is the love and care she shows my daughter. It’s been a really special year, and we feel so fortunate to have Nanny Fran in our lives!
