Hi! My name is Franny. I'm on my way to getting my teacher's license in high-school and middle school language arts, and have tutored as a side job off and on for years. I like tutoring because seeing the click of understanding (of using the English subjunctive correctly, differentiating between passive and active voice, etc. etc.) is a joy! I started tutoring when I was still in high school. The mother of one of the children I babysat for asked me to help her child with their English homework. I continued helping, and then, through word-of-mouth, other high schoolers, with English homework and SAT test prep, for years. After college I taught English and elementary school math abroad, in Russia, for a year.
