About Georgia

I like working with kids because they remind me to let my imagination shine and to be curious about the world around me. As an artist, I am inspired by children's art as it is a glimpse into how they see the world: a creative combination of imagination, abstraction, and reality. Their art encourages me to be more expressive in my own art. In my spare time, I like to watercolor paint, work in the garden, and read feminist authors. Since the pandemic, art has become a core hobby for me and I enjoy sharing it with others through making postcards, bookmarks, and wall decor. Gardening is a more recent passion that developed out of my curiosity for where my food comes from. As a recent college grad, I find myself gravitating towards the learning through reading. One thing you should know about me is I am very good with pets and I'm guaranteed to make a friend out of any pet family member. I've lived with cats and dogs, and I even have experience with rabbits and hamsters.
