Supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors is a true passion of mine. My experience caring for my great aunt during her stroke recovery ignited this dedication. My collegiate studies included psychology and foreign languages, and I later ran the memory enhancement program of an assisted living facility. I am compassionate, detail-oriented, observant, and sensitive to the unique needs of each individual. I prioritize understanding their needs and history to create a safe and engaging environment. I am skilled at de-escalating stressful situations and incorporating memory care activities. I am also experienced in handling unexpected confusion or behavioral changes. I provide transportation, run errands, assist with light housekeeping, and prepare meals. I communicate with families through written daily reports, regular text updates, or phone calls.
