About Helena

Hi! My name is Helena, and I am a Division 1 student athlete at Loyola University Maryland. I have been tutoring children for the past 3 years, helping them develop the crucial time management and organization skills that I've acquired through my years as a student athlete. I have successfully helped kids reach and maintain stellar grades, while simultaneously building their discipline and understanding. I am fluent in English and Spanish, as well as proficient in French, and I am happy to teach your kids these languages. I currently have a 4. 0 GPA as a double major in Journalism and Political Science. I am a part of many honors societies and clubs, teaching your children the value of extracurriculars. Before leaving for college, I tutored kids from 1st-9th grade in my neighborhood, helping create their weekly agendas and prepare for tests and exams. I am a very enthusiastic and active person, ensuring your child will stay engaged!
