A few years ago, I worked with Home Instead Senior Care; while with them, I cared for a couple every weekend for over 3 years (made their meals, tidied up kitchen, and helped with general care and companionship). I also helped another family by walking their dog and helping the lady of the household get ready for bed (as she had memory issues). I gave up the couple that I had been with just over 3 years, when they moved into assisted living accommodations. Note: I am not comfortable with bathing a senior citizen. Also, need a minimum of $25/hr wage.

Jan was our full time nanny for over two years, caring for our three kids from newborn through preschool age. She handled everything - preschool runs, activities, meals, kids laundry, and a daily journal of naps and meals, etc. Safety is her core value: she’s a careful, defensive driver, judicious about reporting every bump and bruise, and even flagged safety risks around our house that we hadn’t noticed. Jan genuinely loves the kids she cares for. We recommend her wholeheartedly!
