About Jenny

I'd describe my personality as positive, energetic and nurturing. I like working with kids because they bring me a lot of joy, and keeping them entertained and happy allows the more creative side of my brain to take flight in ways that it can't in a regular adult workplace. I first started working with kids in high school as a camp counselor for multiple summers at my church's Vacation Bible School; and have since tutored in public schools in Philly and taught 2 summers as a Lead Teacher at The Art Farm NYC. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my cats while I work on writing comedy sketches. One thing you should know about me is I love all things creative! I love doing crafts and projects of any kind with the kids as both a tool for teaching and entertaining. My skills include patience, communication skills and creative decision-making.
