About Jessica

I am a dedicated caregiver with a strong background in supporting children with diverse needs. As a mom of four and former homeschooler/homesteader, I bring years of hands-on experience in child development, structured routines, and creating calm, predictable environments. I have been working in an Title I elementary school providing direct support to students on the autism spectrum, as well as children with ADHD, behavioral challenges, and medical needs. My approach is patient, safety-focused, and grounded in trauma-informed practices. In addition to my classroom experience, I advocate at the state level for early childhood education and special education, giving me a deep understanding of family needs, inclusive practices, and the importance of individualized support.
