Hello! I am compassionate, warm and reliable and am excited to meet your family! I have worked with children ages infant up to 12th grade in many settings. I've tutored in many subjects, love board games, creative play, cooking and art activities! I've been a babysitter/nanny for over 15 years. I'm CPR/AED and First Aid certified, I love pets too! I don't mind light housekeeping and have my own transportation! Jess was amazing with my boys! My boys are very picky who they want to babysit them and they just loved her! She was very engaged with them throughout the whole time and followed our rules in instructions to a T. Our son got along very well with her. Jess is sweet, polite, asks appropriate questions and is engaged. We loved having her over our home. While I was attending meetings in my basement she played so well with my boy! She also sent adorable pictures and videos of him, what made me very happy. 

Jess was fabulous with our little one and making her comfortable! She even helped sew my outfit for the event we were attending when a hole was ripped in it! 

Jess came to our family when we were in a tough spot without a nanny and could not be more grateful for her care with the boys (6- and 18-months old). In the beginning, she was highly responsive in communication and eager to help out. Jess listened to and implemented anything asked of us without hesitation.  She was kind, understanding and gracious about COVID precautions asked of anyone coming into the home.  I would definitely hire Jess again and will keep her number on hand!

It was my first time leaving my kiddo as I went back to work, and Jess made me feel so comfortable. She was very careful and considerate in relation to safety precautions in the home as well as in her care for my little 6 month old.  I had written notes for her use, which she read and followed carefully, and even asked questions to make sure she was caring for him in the way he had been used to.  Jess was friendly, kind, thoughtful, and fun for my little one - he laughed so much and took great naps, even on the first day with her.  She went above and beyond to support me and my kiddo, kept the house tidy (not easy to do with multiple little ones), and made the transition incredibly smooth for everyone.  I would certainly hire her again.  

Jess instantly connected with my four year old son, and they have a great time together.  Jess brings an educational aspect to her approach and allows my little guy to be himself and explore his world.

100% recommend Jess for child care. Our family was traveling and staying in Minnesota for a week to visit family. Jess provided care for our 16 month-old toddler during the workday while we worked remotely. Considering there was a time zone change, a new space, and lots of changes to our toddler's "usual" schedule, Jess was a  stabilizing presence. She handled nap time and meal times with ease. Jess was very attentive and observant - she quickly noticed cues from our toddler when they needed rest/playtime/more milk/food/etc. and addressed any needs. Thank you, Jess!

Jessica has been great with my son. She is responsible and very dependable. My son has made a lot of progress with her in school and he loves learning with her. She is someone that you definitely would like to hire.

There is a feeling that runs deep, has power, and words cannot describe when you're around someone taking care of a child with great love. It gives you a sense of peace and lets you know that the child is well taken care of. That is what I've observed with Jess. Her natural ability to take care of children causes them to gravitate towards her with the same level of comfort as their mothers. She knows how to maintain the boundaries set by the parents while having great warmth when communicating with a child. She can multitask and adapt to any developing situations all the while having excellent punctuation. She is compassionate, energetic, and patient all the while being attentive and observant. A parent often finds it hard not to worry when leaving their children in someone else's care. Jess is wonderful. Our kids love her. I know my kids are safe and with someone fun and smart when they are together.

Jess is the best! She's the one our kids ask for. She's creative, artistic, funny, punctual and completely reliable - for meals and transportation and games we could never think of. Helpful with bedtime and always thoughtful with pets. Her education and communication skills make her a great tutor, so there's the extra benefit of that option in addition to old fashioned, fun babysitting. Plus, her homemade tuna salad is legendary!
