About Jess

I love caring for children and helping them learn and providing a positive and safe environment for them to thrive. I have cared for children through nannying, babysitting, and working in the childcare field over the last 30 years. I have the most experience working with children ages 6 weeks to 5 years, but I have worked with children all the way up to 12 years old. I have been a nanny and a lead teacher in infant, toddler, and preschool rooms. I have extensive training in all aspects of caring for and teaching children of all ages. I am trained to implement the Creative Curriculum and High Scope curriculum. I graduated from Kalamazoo College with a degree in Human Development & Social Relations. I enjoy anything involving the outdoors and have traveled extensively. I feel that I have a lot of strong attributes that contribute to raising well-rounded, content children.
