About Katie

Hi! My name is Katie and I'm a graduate student in Clinical Psychology. Within the psychology field, I have experience providing Applied Behavior Therapy (ABA) services for children (aged 4-10) on the Autism spectrum. I worked on teaching kids new behaviors, managing maladaptive behaviors, and most importantly, creating a fun environment for the kiddos. I've also worked with kids through coaching gymnastics, nannying, and I have volunteer experience as a child advocate for youth in the foster care system. These experiences taught me the importance of children having a fun, caring, and trusting adult in their lives. Within my nannying roles, I have also run errands for families, set up structured play times, cleaned around the house, and cooked for the kiddos/ families. I am looking for a role until my Fall Semester starts back up again in August. I look forward to possibly caring for your kiddos!
