About Khianna

Hi, I'm Khianna--a reliable, compassionate caregiver and family-support professional with 20+ years of experience in care coordination, case management, youth programming, and client support. I have supported foster children ages 0-17 through The Bair Foundation and recently supported young adults ages 18-22 in the Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program through coaching, workshops, communication, and program coordination. I bring patience, structure, strong communication, and a people-centered approach to every family. I believe children and young people thrive when they feel safe, respected, heard, and encouraged. Fun fact: I am a published author and award-winning spoken-word artist. I graduated high school as a certified carpenter and studied business and entrepreneurship in college. I am a proud mom to a 21-year-old son pursuing social work and aunt to 14 nieces and nephews. I enjoy tennis, hiking, bike riding, and organizing. I look forward to supporting your family.
