25+ years of experience working with infants, children and adults of all ages/backgrounds -Hands on experience with adults and children/infants who have intellectual and/or physical disabilities(Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Cancer, dementia, Parkinsons, speech disorders, mental health disorders, epilepsy, diabetes, mobility issues) -ability to implement care plans from doctors and/or physical, occupational and speech therapists. -I enjoy learning and trying new things, exploring, activities like walks, crafts, games, READING -CPR/first aid/AED certified for adults/children/infants .-DSP certified -domestic violence training certification -registered with the IL healthcare worker registry/DCFS -non smoker, vaccinated(covid, Tdap, flu). -comfortable in homes with pets and/or smokers, -reliable car/DL Open communication is key! Ok with following a routine but also can offer suggestions on ways to help the day go smoother. Willing to help however I can!!!
