About Lora

Hello! My name is Lora and I am an experiential education, social emotional learning, youth development professional. I have been babysitting and involved in childcare since I was 13 years old starting with local neighbors and families, a teacher's assistant at a children's center working with kids aged 4-6, summer camp counselor for 10-16-year-olds, and most recently was a Program Director at Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center specializing in outdoor adventure, social emotional learning, team building, and hands-on science for students aged 10-22 years old. I recently moved to Rhode Island and am in-between careers at the moment and am looking for part time childcare opportunities while I figure out what's next! I am very active, love playing outside and sparking curiosity, and my favorite compliment from a middle schooler is that I am calming and soothing. I am CPR Certified and have my Wilderness First Responder Certification.
