I am a high energy university graduate who believes in fostering independence in kids. This last spring semester I completed student teaching and graduated with a degree in Broadfield Social Studies Education. I swam competitively my entire life and am passionate about spending time outdoors. Music and art also play a huge role in my life. I adore animals (especially guinea pigs) and bugs! Limited screen time is something I am passionate about and I have many ideas for adventures and experiences. For roughly nine years, I have worked with children in a variety of ways--summer school, regular volunteering at elementary schools, day camps, babysitting, and most recently through student teaching. I have extensive experience with children with a variety of abilities and am comfortable with special needs, including EBD.
