About Marie

Hello! My name is Marie and I'm a medical student currently taking a year off from a school to pursue clinical research. Before stepping out for my research year, I completed all of my clinical rotations including my pediatric rotations. I also have CPR certification and am prepared to handle emergency situations. The research I am working on is in the field of public health informatics to prevent opioid overdoses. My research role is also complemented by my part time job as a reading specialist for elementary students. In my free time I enjoy running, strength training, reading, and rock climbing. My other strengths include conversational Spanish proficiency, which I studied in college. With many younger siblings and cousins, babysitting experience in high school, and my recent return to babysitting a 3-year-old during this year where I have some extra time on my hands, I am prepared to provide a safe, professional, and fun experience for your children during evenings and weekends.
