About Marilia

Hi Families! I'm Marilia, a career nanny and family assistant with 14+ years of experience supporting children and families in San Diego. Most recently, I spent nearly four years with one family in Rancho Santa Fe, caring for three school-aged children, including twins, in a rotational nanny/family assistant role. I especially love working with school-aged kids, having fun while encouraging independence, curiosity, responsibility, and confidence. I'm experienced with homework and school projects, activities and outings, driving, meals, busy schedules, and household support. I'm active, outdoorsy, calm, dependable, and value building genuine relationships with the children I care for. I'm a native Portuguese speaker, fluent in English, conversational in Spanish, and also a private pilot and volunteer aviation mentor.
