About Mary

Hello, my name is Mary! I am a certified teacher who loves being a nanny! I am very enthusiastic and care free. I graduated from LSU with a degree in Early Childhood Education in 2014. I have taught 4th grade, kindergarten, and pre-k. I was the lead teacher in a classroom of 11 2-year-olds. I have cared for children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Throughout these jobs I have taught them how to talk, walk, read and write. I have also potty trained multiple children throughout my career as a nanny. During the last two nannying experiences I created very detailed daily schedules with weekly themed lesson plans focusing on abilities and interests. I strongly believe that children learn through play and discovery. I will make sure any child I work with is learning, and laughing!
